Apparently the snippet of Max Stirner's egoism from a mystical point of view is much different after learning the truth about wwii lol.

A lot of things are like that, i.e., a jihad or holy war is the internal battle one wages against one's idleness and sin and the inertia of succumbing to temptation; negative tendencies, etc.

Self-mastery means sacrifice. Cutting something pleasurable from one's self, i.e., gambling, wanking, etc. Going to the gym is "jihad", not blowing up an airport.

I read Stirner's Egoism from a mystical point of view as just giving one's self permission to "just do things". A good self metaprogramming will tend uncover many hiccups and restrictions based on past events and arbitrary or out of date game rules. Meditation and retroduction can help identify and establish new game rules based on real mechanical self-knowledge. You are the best therapist for you because you're the leading expert on you (mostly) alive right now and your services are cheaper.
