I've been thinking about this, and I think for Boomer Men what they experienced was kind of a neglect; society was no longer run *for* them - and that's why they keep doing "bootstraps" - because they *did* have to put in **some** work - things didn't absolutely fall in their laps.

@sickburnbro My dad read the Comoact article and said it was absolutely heartbreaking and said he retired right when DEI was getting really bad and he couldn't pick the most talented people for his team.
@nomebullyyou the most important thing you can do then is to convince him that he needs to make sure people know of his experience.
