Lately, I figured that freedom is not as sunshine and rainbows as the "freedom pushers" paint it: Freedom is very much desirable only by those who are strong (who can do whatever they want), and smart (who can figure out everything by themselves), and long lived (who have a LOT of time to learn). Thus we arrive at the "curse of freedom", a.k.a. "being free, you are responsible for ALL the consequences of your actions, even if you didn't know or had no way of knowing".
