The number of dollar billionaires in the world has set a new record – there are now 3,795. The total wealth of these individuals has reached $15.1 trillion, according to a report by Altrata. Ten years ago, there were only half as many dollar billionaires, and the trend shows that "the wealth of the ultra-rich is growing." Currently, the average net worth of a billionaire is $4 billion. There are also "super-billionaires" – those whose wealth is estimated at more than $50 billion.
