#Russia will challenge Norway’s detention of the Rosgidromet vessel “Professor Molchanov” in Svalbard, #Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov said while speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum. According to the minister, the Norwegian authorities detained the Russian vessel based on a lawsuit filed by the Ukrainian company Naftogaz. He noted that the Russian side considers the incident to be a violation of international law.
