The FSB and the Federal Penitentiary Service prevented a terrorist attack in one of the correctional facilities in the Ulyanovsk region. The security forces identified a proud supporter of a terrorist organization who "planned to commit murders of correctional colony staff during the celebration of the Muslim holiday." The FSB specified that the terrorist attack was planned during the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
