@rimugu Easter is not really a Christian holiday it was a pagan roman holiday that was adapted by Christians and eventually taken over by them.

@37712
Easter is a Christian holiday weather you like it or not.

@meso @rimugu nope, fuck the jews, the are a cancel upon humanity.

@meso @rimugu meh, I'm typing from my phone while at work so don't really care

@meso @37712 @rimugu no he just has a speech impediment he can't pronounce R's and they come out as L's instead
@meso @37712 @rimugu neopaganism is so jewish with how it only ever attacks christians, they never go after muslims and try to unearth their pagan beliefs
@meso @37712 @rimugu one pagan tradition i like though, is the conversion to christianity, it's like having rotten britbong teeth your entire life and then you go to a dentist and get your teeth fixed up
@lina @37712 @rimugu faux nvke bulgaria should have never converted from Tangrism
@meso @37712 @rimugu isnt that the turkic dogfucker pagay religion where a guy fucked a she-wolf?
@meso @37712 @rimugu its furfag belief that the followers of tengrism were born from a wolf, im glad tengrism is yiffing in hell now
@lina @37712 @rimugu no dude, thats the romans. they were supposedly born from a she wolf but i say they were born from a homo wolf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She-wolf_(Roman_mythology) Romans are literally a fundamentally degenerate society, niggas were like "Ummm, some guy fucked a dog and two brothers were born, one of them ruled us until his brother fucking KILLED him because of course Romans are so depraved and greedy they'll kill their own for power, and then we sent Romans to rape women from another village, and dude trust me Western civilization was in decline after Rome fell"
@lina @37712 @rimugu Jews don't deserve the hate as much as Romans do. I mean, Romans are dog fucking degenerate pederast brother killing rapists, what's "muh great Western soyvilization" about that
@37712 @lina @rimugu They destroyed great cultures and societies to march on with their twisted ideas of soyvilization, rule of law and advancement. The only thing they advanced is the concept of one group of people exploiting all people across a vast territory
@meso @lina @37712 @rimugu

One of the few individual freedoms people had under Roman Empire was precisely religious and cultural freedom, they didn't bully and kill people over religion as long as they paid taxes and on top of that they had roman citizenship and (allegedly) the same rights everywhere in the Empire.

Do you know who did kill romans over religion and culture? The jews did, and that nearly meant the extinction of jews as an ethnic group because the romans stormed Judea, killed everyone and enslaved those that survived, and right after that the caesar renamed Judea to Syria, Palestina (extremely based).
@meso @lina @37712 @rimugu it was already over for western civilization when Veii fell
@meso @37712 @rimugu
Just like Jesus, Mary, the 12 apostles, and almost any biblical character.

When Christianity began to spread, especially after it was legalized and later made official by the Roman Empire, many peoples already had their own religions and celebrations. To make conversion easier, the Church adapted certain dates, symbols, and local customs, giving them new Christian meaning.

Easter eggs and rabbits are pagan symbols of fertility. Even the word "Easter" comes from "Eostre", a pagan goddess of spring and fertility.

@37712 @rimugu lol. most languages its called some variation of pesach/pascha and it predates spread to germanic peoples. the easter/eostre thing has a decent chance of being true. it is however, an outlier and even eggs being a part of easter is christian in origin. lots of christians dont live in western europe and a bunch of them really couldnt give a fuck about what theyre doing in england and they still celebrate pascha and they still have their easter eggs (to symbolize the empty tomb)
