@37712 @barrybestt it's because the gut biome converts sugar into opioids. In case you were curious. It's literally mildly addicting.
Oxygen is also a narcotic.
But my actual answer to the question is: I can no longer convince myself that i can "handle" drinking, so i quit. I probably never could handle drinking, but that didn't stop me for a long time.
