I don't understand why would anyone wait anything different. It's Bethesda, just look at all their products since 2011.
Everyone involved with their good games are LONG gone, so long ago they are another complete different company with no connection whatsoever.

Yep, the Forsaken curse: when Bungie overdelivered with Forsaken and vowed to never again raise the bar.
Honestly, there's no reason to build an elder scrolls 6. It's easier to just mod a new game on top of Skyrim, like Nolvus did (nolvus.net).
