So I bought my first Skechers last year. Was very happy with them. After three months the mesh tore up on the heel. So I returned them and got a full refund. Said fuck it, and bought the most expensive shoes I ever did - New Balance More v5, they were obviously for running and too tight for daily use. So I returned them and bought another Skechers, different model. I am surprised how shitty the market with shoes really is, especially the lack of information and horrible marketing.

Adidas alone has so many foams and similar names that you just have absolutely no idea what differentiates each model, one from another, except the price.

At this point, if these Skechers won't last, I will just go back to buying 20€ sneakers again, because there is no value when you pay more.

@Justicar sounds like you went through it harder than I had to when learning about shoe quality. Why buy a $200 pair that will wear out as fast as a $60 pair when you can buy the $60 pair multiple times with that $200.
