There, happy now? Oh, I made yet another lingonberry pie lol I'm making flawless pies, I'm so good at baking. (Seriously this is so easy, why I didn't bother doing this before?)

@susie What about lingon berries do you like? I'm considering planting them in my orchard, and information from a consumer would be helpful.

@DoubleD They taste relatively strong compared to most commercial berries (not bred to contain the most water for bigger berries). I like the tart taste, which brings nice contrast with the sweet pie dough.

Lingonberries are very versatile and you can use them with game meat (deer, elk, reindeer etc) as well as sweet desserts.

AFAIK they also don't need as much water to grow (found in mostly dry pine forests here).

@susie Thanks. I've eaten them several times, and I prefer them to cranberries for the reasons you mentioned. My soil is ideal for them because low-bush blueberries grow really well in it naturally. I'm optimistic. Maybe I'll start selling them if they do well.
