Hypothetically all of us who follow TFM get transported into a zombie apocalypse world and establish a colony. What is the first thing we do.
@I_AmTheKnight I'd think become nomads until we find an essential resource or commodity we can use. Mad Max style settle down somewhere, get the water, and own it all from there. I'll handle the water.

@FinalDresdonation - I've spent years planning a post-collapse village (it'd be pretty badass if TFM ever wandered in 😂).
The first building to go up, is a tavern/inn. Drinks and short order menu on the first floor, and rooms on the second floor.
Everyone knows that in any proper Isekai, the tavern is the place to be. 🍻
@FinalDresdonation divide labor, specialize in a particular commodity/sector, establish a free market/ trade with other colonies, create a militia/military and then setup the responsibilitism system where only net tax payers and people who are subject to conscription/draft get to vote. To answer your question the first thing we do is fortify the area and obtain resources, I’m thinking step by step.
