@RodrickSage farmers and "crafstmen" ate a lot of fat and carbs because meat was always scarce. soldiers on the other hand had meat because they were valued more by the king so they had to eat well enough to fight for him. peasants were historically also not allowed to hunt on king's land so the meat was reserved for the nobility. hence farmers and "craftsmen" were fat, while soldiers were not. nobility was mixed since they had access to all foods. i would not read too much into body shapes.
