@Justicar - As far as I can tell, the watermelon thing is just out-dated. Watermelons do well in the south, and most blacks are still in the south. It's mostly a southern rural thing, in all actuality, but since there's so many black people in the south... 🤔 I suppose an association was made. I think the last time that stereotype was used in earnest though, was around the 1950's.

Chicken is much simpler. Chicken is cheap protein. And it's fantastic when fried. 🍻
