Tangentially related conspiracy -- I actually think the common explanation for the term "blue blood" makes perfect sense (pale skin from being wealthy & not working outdoors, veins visible), but I cannot fully trust any information from that time period, from a Little Season framework. So idk!
@RoninGrey The Nephilim were "in those days and also after" so there is a possibility for a second incursion in some way whether by technology or Og, or who knows what else. Whether the blood is really blue or not is not as significant as them claiming a family lineage directly back to Nimrod and Marduke/Jupiter/Zeus as a matter of fact. Whether true or not they believe it and take their right to rule over us as seriously as the demons' other proxy, the Jews.

Like they mentioned, it could actually be a little bit of both -- Maybe Nephilim blood wasn't actually blue, but giants are said to be redheaded, which typically comes with very pale skin, which then would explain their clearly-visible blue veins, especially if they were much larger, therefore leading to the belief that they had blue blood (or at least the "Blue Blood" as slang / a nickname).
