"We should get rid of LOTR because it's not morally grey enough and a few Nazis on twitter made Aragon shitpost edits and because it's not morally grey enough for the media literacy people to whinge about people 'just not getting it' on Twitter" This is what shitlibs actually believe, these people have a brain parasite.

@Shadowman311 they want everything to be morally grey so they can make it into whatever they want at the moment to bludgeon you with. give me something where the good guys are good and the bad guys are bad, that’s why I’ve grown to like lord of the rings so much the past few years. it’s just good guys beating bad guys unambiguously for once

@Turdicus quite a few of the so called "morally grey" stories they love so much aren't even that grey, they are just stories about people with good intentions having to do evil things in the short term for a long term good, that's not morally ambiguous that's the ends justifying the means.
@Shadowman311 @Turdicus "Gray is the color of cowardice and ignorance and sheer laziness, Davian--never let anyone tell you otherwise. If something is not clearly right or wrong then it bears actually *figuring out* which one it is, not dismissal into some nebulous third category. If you have a basis for your morality, a foundation for it, then there will always be an answer--and if you do not, then trying to decide whether *anything* is right or wrong is an exercise in futility and irrelevance.”
