@RegalBeagle It can have many reasons be it natural if it is near vulcanic activity, meteor or high heat. Another option can be man made if it was near glass production facility. I do not see reason why whould somebody dispose of glass this way when it is pretty easilly recycled
@RegalBeagle I think most likely it was sandy meteor that shattered in the air and hot glassy pebbles hit the ground. Like spray. ☄️ 🤔
@Stahesh We're not very seismologically active in west Texas, so I don't think it's that. Not sure if there's a glass factory in town or not. I'll need to take a picture of it next time I see some.
