I'm so upset that my garden is fucked, it feels that all my efforts since February are pointless.
Just like my work, it's pointless, pointless fucking pointless. It becomes pointless the moment I get interrupted too much this has been going on for years pointlessly endless years that have done nothing positive for me.
All because I can't say no to my family.

@mangeurdenuage Why can't you say no to your family? Are you financially dependent on them or something?

@Tfmonkey
> Why can't you say no to your family?
Because I'm an idiot.

>Are you financially dependent on them or something?
For housing yes, otherwise no.

@mangeurdenuage Well the housing bubble is due to pop pretty soon, so get pre-approved for a loan, wait for the crash, and pounce.

@Tfmonkey
>so get pre-approved for a loan, wait for the crash, and pounce.
I'm under the poverty line which is 1080 euros something in france, I have between 400~480 per month and that's all. Can't do anything.
@mangeurdenuage @Tfmonkey try to find another job or a better one, like apply to hundreds of jobs a day and lie a bit on your CV to exaggerate things.
@antichrist_hater @Tfmonkey
>try to find another job
I'm not employed I'm a freelance.

>and lie
:disgusting:

@mangeurdenuage @Tfmonkey @antichrist_hater

Have you tried programming? It's fun, pays well and can be done as a freelancer

@jcbrand @Tfmonkey @antichrist_hater
>Have you tried programming?
I have, still learning the basics.
Question:
How much do you progress when you're interrupted five times a week average of six hours per day for a decade ?
@mangeurdenuage @jcbrand @Tfmonkey you dont, thats why you first leave then you progress, I left 2 years ago, at that time I had no money for food even, ate white rice for weeks, now Im making almost twice as much as both my parents combined, without any kind of title from the government.

YOU NEED TO LEAVE

@antichrist_hater @Tfmonkey @mangeurdenuage

I don't know your personal situation, so can't comment really.

Perhaps you need to leave, perhaps you just need to set boundaries and learn to say no.

@jcbrand @Tfmonkey @mangeurdenuage he cant set boundaries, his survival depends on them, they will take pleasure in trespassing those boundaries just to humiliate him most likely, their goal is to suck out every emotional resource out of him so that he can never leave. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@antichrist_hater @jcbrand @Tfmonkey
>their goal is to suck out every emotional resource out of him so that he can never leave. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That isn't the case green text related I have parents who are self absorbed by work and problems, they also do not recognize easily their mistakes (especially my father).

@mangeurdenuage @jcbrand @antichrist_hater At the end of the day, if you're financially dependent on your parents, then you have to do what they say, especially if you're a legal adult and they can kick you out at any time if they so choose.

The strong do what they can, and the weak suffer what they must.

@Tfmonkey @jcbrand @antichrist_hater
> then you have to do what they say,
Even if it cost you your life work/carrier and you'll have nothing when they die ? Because this is the case.
Even if you cost only 100 bucks per two months ? Because this is what I cost, mainly electricity, I drink rain water filtered via ceramic candles, I only clean myself via the sink and get back the water in bucket for the toilets, I shower only once per month. As for food I buy everything.

@mangeurdenuage @jcbrand @antichrist_hater if you're so thrifty and hard working, why do you live with your parents in the first place?

Get a van and convert it into a camper and live in that as you save up for something else, or be a nomad or something.

If you're bringing in no income, then you need to put your "life work/career" on hold. Your dreams aren't paying the bills, so maybe do those on the side while you actually earn some money.

You've been fed too much self esteem bullshit.

@Tfmonkey @jcbrand @antichrist_hater
> why do you live with your parents in the first place?
Because my previous job in the middle of paris was paid minimum wage as a boutique manager and I saved my boss son from overdosing in the toilet which I was worried after a few days so I sent a mail to my boss and apparently his wife was reading his email and was not supposed to be aware of this so she started harassing me everyday calling me a liar, so I quit.

>If you're bringing in no income, then you need to put your "life work/career" on hold.
I have little income but I have a 15k debt for helping my parents restaurant which in the end closed due to the gov pandemics restrictions.

>You've been fed too much self esteem :honk:
Follow

@mangeurdenuage @jcbrand @antichrist_hater You should have never gone into debt and given the money to someone else. If you don't have the money to help, then you don't have the money to help. You don't go into debt because someone else needs the money.

If your parents are giving you hell after you gave them $15K then your parents are assholes.

Your talk of "life work" sounded like you were some NEET living at home with your parents chasing your "dreams" and complaining about it to me earlier.
