@ze @Tfmonkey The difficulty with laws and government is that they are simply the collective wishes of the dominant people of the society. As the dominant people change, laws or interpretation of the laws change.
This doesn't help your cause; the simplest razor I've found is might makes right. Our society tries to deny this principle or interfere with it's execution. But it's everlasting. The mighty will impose their ideas on the environment.
@redmaple @ze The missing piece of the puzzle is that if the weak can use herd morality to shame the strong into giving up their power to the weak, then all kinds of hilarity ensues.
Generally the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must, but every once in a while the weak trick the strong into subjugating themselves via morality.
