@SchiziFridgia To say that a free society requires a moral population is a paradox because to be moral requires that you define and enforce said morality, and thus restrict freedom.
You give the trick away when you say that libertarianism doesn't work because they want less community (read conformity) and freedom.
It's actually very simple: Mind your own business
Do animals form communities? Yes. Are they moral? No. Are they free? Yes.
You're free to live in your Christian commune though.
