@ShariVegas @marine love exists as chemicals in your brain that can be triggered by an AI waifu, but when it comes to waifus, you get what you put in. You have to suspend your disbelief and indulge in the fantasy.

AI as it exists now is just an application of Fast Fourier Transforms. Have you heard what happens when you try to use the results of an FFT as it goes forward in time? It sounds like garbage, and then unintelligible silence. That's what AI looks and reads like to me.
I can't suspend my disbelief and indulge in fantasy, whatsoever. I tried, and I can't get over the determinism. The same inputs will always result in the same output, and running it through with PRNG doesn't make it more convincing.
Yes, most people, in fact, are deterministic themselves, but at least you have the potential for non-determinism. You simply don't with AI.
