ToyotaTime before the 1940s men in every western country did everything.
That's how we know that patriarchy is the only workable societal framework.
A society can exist with only men working, but a society could not exist where only women worked.
@ToyotaTime @leespringfield1903 @Tfmonkey @BiggusDiccus @white_male but the modern society is built on men AND women working. that's why why there are no relationships. so we either kick women out of the work force and halve the production(on paper, not in reality) and accept the global consequences of such move, or continue on this trajectory and somehow make it to the next day. i think we all know the latter is what society will choose - always. because no one wants to live in poor country.

You don't need female participation in the workforce to have a wealthy nation.
America in the 1950s was a very wealthy nation, and had almost no female participation in the economy. Most women weren't even allowed to open bank accounts until the 1960s.
If women were necessary in the economy, they wouldn't need government programs to force companies to hire women.
I agree that's where civilization really started going downhill with each successive generation. Now where did all this feminism come from?
