@UncleIroh @gamingonlinux the qualified here is "the most". That is a qualifier of quantity that infers all other operating systems and not just macOS or iOS. The existence of AOSP alone makes that statement nonsensical, let alone operating systems like Debian, Fedora, NixOS, FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
So I have to disagree. The Microsoft marketing department really didn't do their double speak homework here.
It's really not that deep. They're engaging in typical word magic by smuggling in common words that have dual meaning.
Using the normative definition of "most" and "open", that phrase is clearly nonsense as you pointed out.
