The new Latvian prime minister, Andris Kulbergs, proposed to completely abandon trade relations with #Russia. According to Kulbergs, the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs must work out mechanisms for abandoning trade with Russia, however such measures require coordination at the #EU level. At the same time, Kulbergs admitted that the pharmaceutical sector of #Latvia will not be able to quickly restructure to another market and an exception will need to be made for it.
