@lopeztel - I had to ponder for a bit, because I'm not often in that situation. I don't waste time with females, so life has become much simpler. But no one is entirely immune to shit happening.
When I'm feeling down, I like to work in the garden, personally. Alternatively, I find art (painting, drawing, making music) will also take my mind off of it.
Of course, if things are truly awful - like a heartbreak, or someone died... You have to feel the pain. You must, but there are ways to

If things are truly bad, and some form external assistance is required, I recommend "lion's mane" mushroom supplements (available on Amazon for a reasonable price). It won't do anything crazy - no high, no tripping.
