@Meteoryan - forgiveness with consequences, because the two have nothing to do with one another.
If I have a plate, and you break it... I'll be irritated. Maybe you apologize and show remorse. And I can forgive you, but that won't make my plate whole again. And that's the difference between forgiveness and consequences.
We don't forgive for the benefit of others, but for the benefit of ourselves. No rule says you can't say "I forgive you and won't hold onto anger, but also, fuck you." 🫡
