I'm originally from the third world. It can never catch up because of the people there.

The fundamentals of their culture, mentality, IQ and economy are basically everything you should avoid to become a rich, prosperous, safe and entrepreneurial nation.

It also adds up that most intelligent men from that country emigrates to first world countries due to the wage difference. The brain drain ensures they will never develop sufficiently, reversing/preventing it should be top prio.
