Does anyone actually believe HD is circumventing "The Great Firewall" with a special stealth VPN (pretty much unobtainable in China, unless with government approval), risking going to jail, all just to regularly appear on a tiny show and casually agree with the host's propaganda, like it's his job?

Yeah, Jiang is clearly an op but it's a competent one. I enjoy his historical analysis but when gets into subjects that affects our world, the propaganda is thick.
I think the same can be said about everything: everyone is always promoting something, that's the reason media exists. That's self-interest at its core.
What's the point of the show then, it's kind of a training for future leaders? Like spec-ops training?
@Zeb That's the thing, with Jiang at least you learn something, but HD? He just agrees with everything TFM says. He never shares any meaningful insights, he never even talked about the "Opium Wars" and how China was conquered by Js, but he made sure to reinforce TFM's old classic line about how "Whites who blame Js are like the blacks who blame Whites".
The point of these shows is to prevent White men from caring about genes, having kids and uniting as a race. It's training people for failure.

I agree with that, I think HD could contribute to the show a lot more useful information, specially since he likes to go into chinese history. There's a plethora of knowledge there he could bring to the audience.
On the other point, that's true although it's not intentional: by providing several better logical alternatives and, in many cases, exclusionary solutions that prevent whites from rising up and waging war, it contributes to the failure of a unified uprising.

I don't see how in our modern world this can be done. Censorship didn't even work in a white unified conformist totalitarian soviet union.
Ignoring the internet, radio, communication tech, automation and specially, transportation and modern supply chain advances, won't be enough to stop alternative solutions from attracting capable white men away.

It's the same with "Professor" Jiang, China has an interest in promoting certain narratives and allows some of their people to bypass their internet restrictions.
In HD's case, he's helping promote mgtow, brics and chinese sex dolls.
This show is just one of many out there that is financed through "donations" by the many groups out there promoting those same ideas.
It's not headed anywhere, it's not special, it's doing its job in its niche.
