I’ll put this out to you guys and see if you can provide a satisfying response.

One of Borzette’s things she constantly puzzles over is how anti-White liberals can have their politics while also enjoying the fruits of White culture and civilization. I think I need to give you some context though before you answer.

Borzette went to a very prestigious school so she is basing this off people she actually knows. The people she went to school with were old money, nouveau riche, and just the generally privileged. One classmate in particular that got her on this was a mediocre student who had an easy life and now teaches at a school for the children of elites in a historic European place. This person also married a jew and has all of the politics you expect. Now, married to a jew, you think that’s enough to say case closed right there, but it’s not just about this one person. She wants to know how people like this can justify or rationalize their views while living these lifestyles. Because she actually knew these people, these aren’t just abstract limousine liberals to her. So she’s trying to make sense out of them.

What I told her basically is that these people are mediocre, midwit functionaries who like status and prestige. Their appreciation of culture is actually quite shallow. It’s consumptive. They’re just accoutrement. They don’t have any actual appreciation for what created them and they would in fact deny there was anything special about Europeans. They don’t really have either the intelligence to investigate or test their own beliefs or the moral courage to go against them. Many of these people would follow the same script in our favor if our beliefs were the indoctrinated ones that give you status and prestige. They just don’t think about this stuff.

This answer didn’t really satisfy her. She doesn’t think I’m wrong, she just thinks there has to be more to it than just that. Personally I think she’s projecting her own sensibilities onto them. “I can see it, why can’t you?” My point to her on that is that’s why these people will always hate us more than any POC that brutally victimizes them. When we confront them we cause cognitive dissonance and that is very painful for them to experience. Ironically because their beliefs are more shallow, they don’t have a firm grounding in them either intellectually or morally. So they have to double down harder to cope with the dissonance.

I pivoted off of that into Lasch stuff but I’ve been wondering how anyone else would have tackled this question.

So what do you think?

@borzoi I will add this point: these people live in a bubble. They have not grown up in a household where their parents told them they could not afford something. They have no had hardship with finances, but luxury. One who has only experienced that sort of life on easy mode has no idea what it means to have to work for something. Therefore, they do not appreciate the hard work others before them have done towards making civilization.

@borzoi Just think about what would happen if you took away their luxuriois lifestyle. What would they be? Probably nothing, as they never learned how to build themselves up. Such is the case with many descendents who were not the original creators of wealth. They pride themselves as better than you, even if they have no real accomplishments to even remotely justify this.

They see other whites as peasants below them. Even though they are really no better themselves.
