@WashedOutGundamPilot @deprecated_ii Perhaps family is not the only thing that gives men stake, but it sure is a major one. Men need to know that they will not be screwed over at any moment or be stuck in a miserable marriage in order for them to have a desire to get married in the first place. Though frankly, so many women are not marriageable that even rolling back some of the bad laws might not be enough.

When you flood the country with cheap labour, take away heritage, pride, heterogeneous communities, expectation of property and progeny, cause rampant devaluation of currency so what little you save becomes worthless, then why should any man do more than the bare minimum? Not saying that it's the right thing to do but I certainly understand the lack of motivation to contiribute to a system already in heavy decline.
