That's odd, I thought journos were adamant that "it's a private platform and they can do what they want" when it was people they disliked getting banned.

@sj_zero @TechNews To be fair, the "it's a private platform" started out as a snarky retort to free marketer right wing types. They never really believed in that statement or cared about it, they just saw it as something to throw in their oppositions faces.
Though that does not make it their comeuppance any less merited. And often, many on the left say a lot of other things they do not personally believe either.

If you at least try to live by a code of ethics, people might not agree with you, but at least they'll respect you.
