They’ll try to talk up their totally real and surely rigorous workout regimen to try and convince you (in their mind, because obese women are retarded) via brute-force social pressure to disbelieve your own eyes and treat her like a skinny, disciplined girl

@WashedOutGundamPilot The most important discipline with good health is not how much you exercise, but how much you eat in proportion to your exercise. Even if they are killing it at the gym (which they are most likely not, as you correctly assess), they cannot outlook a bad diet. Such a diet often includes eating out, Starbucks coffee (and not the plain ones) and prepackaged frozen meals. With such a diet, you cannot hope to be at a healthy weight.

Agreed. There are good reasons to exercise, but for weight loss, I’ve found it to be about 85/15 input to output. Fix your lifestyle when it comes to food and you will move the needle much further than working out.
