Even if they are killing it at the gym (which they are most likely not, as you correctly assess), they cannot outlook a bad diet. Such a diet often includes eating out, Starbucks coffee (and not the plain ones) and prepackaged frozen meals. With such a diet, you cannot hope to be at a healthy weight.
