Theory: when NPR reports on a "conspiracy theory" it's 100% true and is a signal for NPR-tribe to ignore something with all power, because it's true and the evidence is irrefutable.

-"without evidence"
-calling things complicated or saying more context is required when the simple explanation is against the narrative
-claiming that someone was previously spreading misinformation while only citing said incident without bringing up the supposed misinformation because it turned out later to be completely true.

NPR is worse than most. Just because they used hushed tones does not mean they are not scum.
