@IAMAL_PHARIUS A car is a necessity in most parts of America. Not saying it is a good thing, but it is true thanks to how we make all our infrastructure car-centric.
Now, as for it being a NEW car, that is indeed not necessary. Most people could get a used car to accomplish what they need. The problem is many people would rather status signal with money they don't have rather than be practical.
@houseoftolstoy @IAMAL_PHARIUS if most people wanted a used car, supply would surpass (heh) demand and prices would come close to those of new cars. We've seen this happen already in 2020 / 2021
