People hate on the Irish because we don't get bullied easily.
Somehow I never saw that movie. But I grew up in Massachusetts, and let me tell you watching The Departed it's just eery how all the little mannerisms and ticks and accents and dumb shit are so reminiscent of my childhood.

Well, we actually watched it tonight. Obviously a good movie, Scorsese bats 1000, kudos to him for bending to pop culture and painting Lincoln as a rosier figure than he was.
I found it kind of "other worldly" because it was just from so long ago, but I did appreciate the references to Tammany hall.
