Toned down for Normies but it hits most of the points. Capitalism bad. Social regression good?
@marlathetourist The more abundant a resource is, the less valuable it becomes. Same thing with people. humanity can either go one of two ways: Either we evolve into an ant-like colony where we're worthless as individuals and only know how to do one thing (highly specialized workers) OR we have less people who are physically superior and know how to perform multiple tasks. As someone who values freedom/individualism, I want the latter. Let's depopulate, let's have some degrowth.
@Based_Accelerationist @marlathetourist
The premise is false. The world is NOT overpopulated: only cities are. Just travel around the world and you will quickly figure out the lie.
Careful when taking the lies the jews told everyone for granted before validating their veracity.
I do agree though the weak need to be culled, we can't afford that many parasites. Life has to run its course.
@Zeb It's overpopulated, if you don't want to live like an ant. Take everyone from the cities and give each family enough land to hunt and live on (remember that over half of the land surface is uninhabitable). It's not enough. It's not just the space either, it's the resources. You don't want to rely on processed food and bottled water. There simply are too many people.
And this isn't even taking into account my other point about NPCs. Our individual value plummets, the more people exist.
@Based_Accelerationist Cheap and abundant energy solves all these problems of “too many mouths to feed”. But like you said we currently have too much demand not enough supply
@marlathetourist Animals are programmed to reproduce as long as there's enough space/resources. If you provide cheap abundant energy, you'll see the global population increase even further and become even more of a dystopia (not accounting for black swan events, like a "great reset"). There will always be too many mouths to feed.
Instead of making energy cleaner, we should make humanity great again, through natural selection, unless we want to end up like fat AI blobs who only know how to code.
@marlathetourist Look, they're lying, but the idea is correct. We can't keep growing. Capitalism works, it works too well. Prosperity makes people weak. We need death and natural selection from time to time and nobody will willingly accept it.
Is the world overpopulated? YES. People are living on top of each other in pitiful conditions, away from nature. There isn't enough land for everyone.
Now the world's overpopulated with NPCs, who only know how to do one very specialized job.
