'econophysics' lmao that's not a real field
@udongle @moffintosh oddly enough the last paragraph is the only convincing argument and it is undermined by how mercurial and insubstantial the rest of the arguments are. We really are at a point where the only people who can actually critique capitalism are racists, are we?
Third position economic theories grew out of socialism's failure to critique capitalism, racists have always been the real anti-capitalists.

Communist anti-capitalism is always just a bunch of slogans and buzzwords that don't explain anything.
@udongle @DrRyanSkelton @moffintosh ITS NOT THAT SOCIALISM FAILED TO CRITIQUE CAPITALISM, ITS THAT THERE HAS TO BE AN "AND THEREFORE" PROPOSED ALTERNATIVE THAT SOLVES THE ISSUES OUTLINED IN THE CRITIQUE
EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER WERE LOOKING AT THE TEN THOUSAND POUND GORILLA OF INDUSTRIAL CAPITAL WRECKING THE PRE-INDUSTRIAL SOCIAL ORDER, THINKING "WELL THAT AIN'T GOOD, CLEARLY THE NEW TECH IS CREATING PRESSURES TOWARD ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIORS, CHINESE OPIUM STYLE"
AND THEY PROPOSED SOLUTIONS OF DIFFERENT STRIPES
SCALED UP MEDIEVAL GUILDS, CLASS COLLABORATION, UTOPIANS WERE DOING THEIR RETARD SHIT IN AMERICA

THEN ALONG CAME KARL MARX AND STOLE A BIT FROM EVERYONE AND THEN SAID NO IM GONNA MAKE A SCIENCE OUT OF IT

AS WAS THE STYLE AT THE TIME

AND BASICALLY THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS MATERIAL CONDITIONS AND THE SOLUTION IS TO RABBLE ROUSE AND TRY TO SEIZE POWER UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE
IF THEY FAIL TO IMPROVE AS A RESULT THAT JUST MEANS YOU HADNT WRECKED ENOUGH SHIT

@nugger @moffintosh @DrRyanSkelton @udongle

So they are saying if it is broke then broke it more to fix it and if that does not work break it even further?

@shortstories @nugger @moffintosh @DrRyanSkelton @udongle yes. The solution is the kill more people and smash more things. Marxism has great critique, but no real solutions, so it naturally appeals to people who are simply interested in power at all costs, and dont care how much suffering they cause to get it.
NPC Marxists don't understand Marxism. It's highly influenced by Kantian metaphysics and the transcendental aesthetic, though corrupted in both instances. NPC Marxists aren't the genius philosophers they pretend to be, they just want free stuff.
I have heard it summarized as an eternal revolution. Capitalism toppled monarchy, so you need to topple capitalism and just keep toppling what comes after but I haven't read this shit myself.
Absolutely. There's a reason the jews shipped it into Russia. They already had their thumb on Germany. Russia was a threat.
@Humpleupagus @moffintosh @shortstories @DrRyanSkelton @udongle @nugger ironically, eastern europe was economically backward precisely because so much of the wealth was locked up into a jewish circular economy
I think the real thing that marx hit on was the idea of alienation of labor, and perhaps to use a later Heideggerian term, the way alienating labor can cause a person to become inauthentic. This is real. We've all seen it or even felt it's pull at times.

Nonetheless, I don't know how you get from there to "communism." It's very jewish and non-german.

I think real Germanics, like Kant, Heidegger, and Nietzsche, would say... to paraphrase in a thick California accent, do what you can to maintain authenticity. If you become inauthentic, that's on you. Society as a whole is not to blame. The individual is the nucleus of culture and all things come from within each.
@Humpleupagus @moffintosh @shortstories @DrRyanSkelton @udongle @nugger yeah. He did have great critique. I do think his notions of class and modes of production are increasingly out of date. More and more I think we need to develop a concept of Modes of Consumption instead. We seem to be less and less defined by our relationship with production than we are by our relationship with consumption
Yeah the problem is his solution to alienated labor was to alienate labor under a different system, solving nothing but making it very easy for leninists to kill anyone by calling them a counterrevolutionary.

@Humpleupagus

NPC Marxists don't understand Marxism.

Nonetheless, I don't know how you get from there to "communism."

@Monsignor_DickFace Mf doesn't understand Kant nor Marxism so when pushed he just soyed

> This a community meme about you now.
> is the only one spamming it.

@moffintosh I don't care about this thread, I just thought it was funny with the little bug it created.
The exact meaning was different in each country because recognizing that different people need and want different types of government is a core ideal (as opposed to having the same global trade system for everyone everywhere at the same time). The main idea is that materialistic ideologies are wrong, people are not interchangeable economic machines, and the people should be united and self sufficient (exact definition of every word again differing by country, national socialism is for germans not italians)

@Humpleupagus

It's highly influenced by Kantian metaphysics and the transcendental aesthetic

@Humpleupagus Marxism is basically the complete opposite of Kant, you have no idea of what are you even talking about

*States that it's a perfect logical contradiction, missed the part where I said it was a corruption of kant*

You rn:

@Humpleupagus
To be a corruption of something, it needs to at least preserve it's method. By your metric, anything can be a corruption of Kant
