The problem is that this person was not given a life sentence for previous crimes but instead deportation was debated

These people should not be deported for stabbing people

Deportation means get released to come back and commit more crimes

They should get life sentences to make sure they can not re enter the border after being deported

If it was proved they are innocent later than they can get released and possibly deported after that or allowed to stay depending on criteria
