@sickburnbro @af2

Only the mainstream media outlets can reach large numbers of people with false information

Freedom of reach is denied to alternative viewpoints which get freedom of speech in name only

For those who oppose the ADL agenda they get Freedom of speech but not freedom of reach

@shortstories @af2 "freedom of reach" is a fake term trying to salami slice 1st amendment. You were always allowed to hand out news of any sort as long as you weren't disturbing the peace.

Shadowbanning people is the same as refusing people to ability to hand our their magazines in NYC
@sickburnbro @shortstories Private company though. Do you want "bake the cake, bigot" with your "publish the tweet, Elon"? The internet was never a public place (thank god), access to it relies on corporations agreeing to connect with you. We need to stop crying about how unfair things are and start building our own network out.

@af2 @sickburnbro

How can you build your own internet connection in such a way that the government can not turn off the internet?

Let's say the government took over all the websites people go to like godaddy where people register their websites and told them to deactivate every single regustered website

Could people still access the internet by some sort of alternative structure they built or would that be the end of the internet?

· · Web · 1 · 0 · 0
@shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro they wouldn't even need to do that, just hit up a couple of the isp's, just verizon and comcast for example, and you'd black out a shit ton of people

and right now there's absolutely nothing stopping the isp's from doing as they're told, we simply have a handshake from them that they wont go full on state utility whenever instructed

@dictatordave @af2 @sickburnbro

Could working middle class people who are not governments nor corporations build their own isp so that if governments deactivated every isp that is owned by a government or corporation then they could still use the internet

@shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro yea its technically possible. you'd probably have to lay infrastructure but yea its possible
although i imagine the gov would come in and say they have regulatory power because xy&z, because they're faggots

@dictatordave @af2 @sickburnbro

Could a single working middle class person afford to build the infrastructure on one person's income after living expenses

How much physical space would the infrastructure take

How well could the infrastructure be guarded from the government finding it and destroying it with their high tech weapons

@shortstories @dictatordave @af2 well, it depends on what you're trying to do with it. If you want to be streaming nonstop 4k netflix, no you can't do any of that.

If you want to share a few spicy memes a day, sure.
@sickburnbro @shortstories @af2 yea exactly
we could do it over radio, like old fashion analogue radio, and encrypt the data to exchange like text intel or maybe code to be read at the end of the line

but building a diy server farm from even like free thrown out computers would still take power so there's energy costs going up, you'd still need to have a way to contact the servers from the outside so that's infrastructure that could lead back to the servers location, etc etc

@dictatordave @af2 @sickburnbro

Could a large number of people build these radio like devices?

How could they be duplicated and all set to use the same computer language to decode signals into text without a government or corporation?

How would the parts be mass produced in a standardized way so that there would be conpatibility from one device to another?

Could the government eliminate ham radios?

Can the non electronic printing press be reinvented as a means to send out counter narrative

@shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro you can get all the chinese gear you need to send data over analogue signal now on amazon for pretty cheap

as far as encryption you'd probably have to home brew it

sending data is a thing some ham guys love playing around with, as far as 'shutting it down' there really is no way to do it besides taking all the gear, you can just jump around the dial and use different tones
@dictatordave @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro Actually blocking all the radio bands would require some effort, but if the Gubment wanted to shut down people skirting an information blackout, triangulating the signal source is simple. I recall people using higher than legal power CB transmitters getting busted via signal location way back in ancient times in the 70's.
@Mister_Sunshine @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro yea fox hunting as they call it
but i think you'd be able to get around that with short bursts and moving your signal, or using repeaters

theoretically you'd be able to use such a system to send text data that would be relatively secure but yea you'd probably just want to personally deliver most orders or information
@Mister_Sunshine @dictatordave @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro s2 underground doses some stuff on triangulation and the ease and difficulty involved. As for signal jamming, that would require a lot of transmitters on a lot of frequencies in a lot of places pushing a hell of a lot of power to override the signals being blocked.

@stoner713 @af2 @dictatordave @Mister_Sunshine @sickburnbro

Let's say some small percent of the population figures out how to send signals

Does this do any good unless the majority of the population knows how to receive signals and has equipment to receive signals

Is this something that can be mass reproduced so that most families or single adults have their own machines to send and receive signals without going through the government or corporations to access the internet

@shortstories @stoner713 @af2 @Mister_Sunshine @sickburnbro are you asking if most normies can use a radio? the answer is clearly no
most of them can't figure out the most basic of any tech, they're retarded apes mashing a fondle slab
but i dont care about the masses of asses or what their governments do to them to be frank
@stoner713 @dictatordave @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro Yep. For a case study in signal jamming, one need not look further than the Yoocrane War. Not impossible, but requires some effort. Triangulating on the other hand is simple. The Rooskies have even come up with gear that can triangulate Elon's Starlink terminals. And those use highly directional antennae pointed at the sky, yet there is enough stray wave leakage to be detected.
@Mister_Sunshine @stoner713 @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro as my colleagues have pointed out, nothing is secure

but if shit hits the fan you'll just have to make do, but who knows what will happen with infrastructure and jamming techniques

apparently thieves are using wifi jammers to fuck with cameras while they do crimes at residences

there's a lot that can be learned from the internet, i suggest caching copies of manuals and handbooks now while we are still in this golden age
@dictatordave @Mister_Sunshine @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro Again s2 underground brings this point of cashing, using a mesh network. Store pdfs on mesh, everyone in range of mesh has access. Mesh can be put in a smol waterproof box with a very smol solar panel to keep it powers for a very long time.
@stoner713 @Mister_Sunshine @shortstories @af2 @sickburnbro yes s2 is an excellent source
lots of great info for say using a ads dongle to track aircraft while being off of other networks, problem being the fondle slab or tablet will probably use some backdoor to dime you out
but its possible

also in ukraine they're using local wifi networks according to this dude that was talking about whats going on when he was on garand thumb's video about that war
@dictatordave @sickburnbro @shortstories @af2 Packet radio is a thing and there are (or were) radio BBSs available
