Syria is much closer to the land of ancient Israel than Europe & the Soviet Union where Ashkenazi Jews hung out in the 20th century before the creation of Israel

Syrians have a much higher percent ancestry from the ancient Israelites than Ashkenazi so called Jews

Also Christianity & Islam are closer to the Old Testament religion morally
