@Terry My guess would be Israel killing an IRGC commander in Syria and daring Iran to respond, since the embassy bombing is what started this whole thing, and Iran has said they would respond to IRGC getting hit in Syria. And if Israel is feeling daring enough, they will assassinate some high profile people in Iran, probably some of the officials behind the rocket attack. It send a message, and they can always deny it and blame it on some domestic group.

I still would not be surprised if Israel will attack or pretend to attack Iranians or Iranian property in Syria and then blame Iran for it
