"Under Jewish law, mohalim must draw blood from the circumcision"
"some follow the traditional practice of doing it by mouth."

Disclaimer : I am not saying the penalty for rape should be castration because of false accusations
1 If the legal penalty for rape is castratation then the legal penalty for being a Mohel should be castration
2 The legal penalty for being a Mohel should not be castration nor the death penalty even if the legal penalty for rape is castration
@shortstories Castration is insufficient, death by public hanging is necessary to deter this "religious-cultural" practice.
What's stopping other predators from perpetuating this practice if their excuse stems from religious and cultural grounds? And how is it any different if a non-Jew engaged in these acts?
This needs to be corrected, and the cure is public condemnation fused with capital punishment.
Society needs to wise up.

I think it is unjust that this guy gets castrated but Mohels do not get castrated
@shortstories A few issues with this video.
1. Capital punishment ought to be imposed against ANY predator, not just men, if they are found to have violated a child's innocence.
2. Society needs awareness that women are just as culpable as men are, in events where children are subject to heinous and predatatory acts by paedophiles.
3. These punishments must also extend equally to EVERYONE regardless of whether it's a religious or cultural practice.
This is common sense.
@shortstories Brit Milah, or Jewish circumcision, is an antiquated and anachronistic practice that must be banned, especially with their practitioners doing such heinous acts that are considered "culturally accepted" by their contemporaries. There is NO reason for a rabbi, or any other person, to engage in male genital mutilation as it is grotesque in nature, unwarranted, and a violation to the infant's health.
For those who view this as "antisemitic" are grossly out of touch.
