According to the Old Testament the Israelites did not build Jerusalem but the Jebusites lived there first and the Israelites invaded it

Even if we believe the old testament story the Israelites were given the land because of the wickedness of the nations they were driving out as mentioned in Deuteronomy 9:4-6 and Genesis 15:16 and elsewhere
They were then warned that they would be vomited out of the land if they did the same type of things that the previous people living there did Leviticus 18:28
Jerusalem is called Sodom in Revelation 11:8
Ashkenazi Jews should be banned from the land for violating Leviticus 18
