Every time you see the words 'ever recorded' you should mentally replace that with "since 1880" - that's when we started recording climate data. For data about ocean temps specifically - they are not really reliable until the mid 1930s. see picrel, src is NASA "The Raw Truth on Global Temperature Records" - about a 10 minute read if you're curious

@merchantHelios @spectatorindex even today the data collection is so sparse (among other problems) it's practically useless for fine measurements. the accumulated error is 10x larger than the changes they claim they can see in the data

That sounds more trustworthy than the gravity wave data if the error is only larger than 10 fold times what they are trying to measure

that does not mean I trust it

I just distrust other things more
