Sikhs are legally allowed to carry blades called Kirpans

If you dress like a Sikh and say you are of the Sikh religion does the government and corporations have the right to say you are not a Sikh or could people get sued for that?

Do you have a right to say you were not a Sikh yesterday and are a Sikh today and then to change your mind about being a Sikh tomorrow?
