I am not denying that 2 different clocks can have 2 different changes in time value between the same two different events
But the way it was dealt with in calculations were made in the special theory of relativity as I understand are absurd
Essentially they claim that the speed of light is the same in all reference frames & that objects get smaller or bigger so that travel time gets larger or smaller while traveling at the same speed
This change in length leads to absurdities
@nomebullyyou
The object that is moving in the reference frame will be shrunk in the direction it is moving
If the race track is moving underneath a racer the race track will be shorter & so it will take less time to run the race
If the race track is stationary and the racer is moving then the track will get longer & it will take more time to run the race
If there is say a spiked wall a certain distance after the finish line then the racer might die in one reference frame and live in another
