the machine will chew up and spit out who it wants. CEO? check. nobody? double check. whatever the machine wants will happen. it's safer to have no opinion or thought on it than to cheer on (taylor lorenz, for example -- cant think of somebody who deserved the treatment more)
in the coming years having an opinion one way or another about anything that falls anywhere on any political spectrum will result in you having issues (job loss, family split, whatever). smarter to just watch and remember for now. trump is likely going to be more chilling than biden was, i hope not but look at orange man's first term

What about rejecting the political spectrum and rejecting all politicians and having already been rejected by the majority of society as someone who does not know what they are talking about for taking such a stance
