The Catechism of the council of trent set the minimum age of marriage at twelve for females this is much older than the Orthodox Jewish standard

I am opposed to people emgaging in illegal under age marriage but I suggest the legal age of marriage should be lowered but not lowered as much as the Jews have lowered it

if anything (unironically this time) i would say it's more soon than it is late, but still works fine, it's around the time they finish Education, and around the same time people are able to start being functional to raise a family.
also, i do believe the age of Consent should be the same for both Sexes.
