just by sending out weird radio signals, they BOUNCE OFF THE AIR (well, what's in it) and then come BACK?? and you can DETECT THAT???? and then analyze the signal to get wind speed and even FIGURE OUT WHAT TYPE OF OBJECT YOU FOUND???????? so that you can get information about a storm that is HUNDREDS OF KILOMETERS AWAY????????? THATS INSANE
