My stance on English degrees is if you are a native English speaker then it does not make sense to get an English degree but if you are a foreigner who is learning English as a foreign language then it might make sense

Now Ebonics is a different language than English

So I guess if an Ebonics speaker wants to learn proper English than that might make sense but why should taxpayers pay for that
